Seventh Month

Rhett has been cracking me up this month. He is so easy to grin and his smile looks so cute now that he has 4 teeth. His top teeth are coming in and they look HUGE. I love it! He is trying hard to move, but can't quite figure out. I want him to take his sweet time. I'm not ready for another kid to chase after. Here are some stats for this month:

Weight: 22 pounds

Clothing  Size: 12-18 months, Does not like tight waste pants. Would rather wear just onesies!!

Diapers size:3

Teeth: 4 total
Cut his top two teeth this month

Apperance:
  • WILD hair - still old long pieces with new fuzzy hair underneath
  • brown eyes
  • SUPER fat legs- I think there is some muscle under the fat
  • SOLID and HEAVY
New Discoveries:
  • Finally mastered sitting up, he really enjoys playing with his toys
  • Rolling and scooting to get what he wants
  • Very flexible at reaching for items while sitting up
  • Trying hard to figure out crawling, he gets his knees under his tummy then falls (so funny)
  • Super smiley and full of drool
  • Laughs easily at brother (C can always make him mad easily too, ha)
Eat:
  • Baby food 2-3 times a day
  • 5-6 ounces of formula every 3 hours in the day
Sleep:
  • Bedtime 8-8:30
  • Occasionally wakes up around 4:30 for a bottle
  • Normally sleeps till 6:30
Nap:
  • Still a great nap taker
  • Takes around 3 naps a day
Happenings:
  • Trip to Jacksonville- I took the two boys to my parents for the weekend and we got to see my grandparents  and go to church with my parents. We had a good visit!
  • More snow- yes in March!
  • Mamaw visit- we drove to LR for the day to visit Mamaw in the hospital. She had major back surgery (two different surgeries). She was doing so great and was sad she couldn't hold Mr. Chunky. The drive home was EXHAUSTING (both boys cried for an hour straight)
  • Daddy went to Kansas for 5 days. I was a single mom and felt like superwoman just keeping everyone fed and dry. I missed Daniel but was glad that he was able to get away for sometime in the woods with Luke. I respect single moms so much, I am thankful I have a helper.
